Volcano Classic Vaporizer

Volcano Classic Vaporizer – A True Icon in Dry Herb Vaping

The Volcano Classic Vaporizer by Storz & Bickel is the original desktop dry herb vaporizer that helped define the category—and it’s still going strong more than 20 years later. Invented in 1996 by Markus Storz in Germany, the Volcano Classic remains a gold standard thanks to its timeless design, long-term reliability, and unmatched vapour quality. Hand-assembled in Tuttlingen, Germany, using medical-grade materials, this unit is built not just to perform—but to last.

A Timeless, Analogue Masterpiece

With its iconic brushed metal cone and simple rotary dial, the Volcano Classic offers a refreshingly analogue experience in a tech-heavy world. There are no screens, no Bluetooth, and no firmware updates—just solid engineering and reliable results. The temperature dial ranges from 130°C to 230°C, allowing users to easily find their ideal setting for flavour, vapour density, and potency. Whether you prefer light, flavourful sips or dense clouds, the Volcano delivers consistently every time.

True Convection Heating – Pure and Efficient

What truly sets the Volcano Classic apart is its pure convection heating system. Unlike conduction vaporizers that cook herbs on contact, the Volcano gently passes hot air through the material, ensuring full, even extraction without burning. This method not only preserves the delicate flavours and aromas of your herbs but also eliminates the risk of harsh hits or combustion. The heating element and herb chamber are physically separated, meaning your material won’t be pre-heated or wasted until you’re ready to start.

The Original Balloon Experience

The signature balloon-and-valve system is another reason why the Volcano has stood the test of time. When you’re ready to vape, simply attach the balloon, turn on the air pump, and watch it gently fill with rich, aromatic vapour. Once filled, the balloon detaches and becomes a completely independent, portable delivery method. You can pass it around, set it down, or enjoy it solo—no cords or direct inhalation required. This indirect method cools the vapour naturally and makes each inhale incredibly smooth, with no throat irritation or coughing.

Built to Last (and Then Some)

The Volcano Classic is famous for its durability and longevity. Many users still have working units from the early 2000s that function just as well today. Its robust stainless steel shell, solid internal components, and electromechanical design are made to handle daily use for years—if not decades. Maintenance is minimal, replacement parts are readily available, and it rarely needs servicing.

Who’s It For?

This is the perfect device for dry herb users who want reliable, at-home performance without needing to mess with apps, batteries, or delicate glassware. Whether you’re a beginner who wants a proven vaporizer that’s easy to use, or a seasoned enthusiast who values flavour and consistency, the Volcano Classic delivers. Every Volcano Classic purchased through Evertree includes full warranty coverage and dedicated customer support.
