Benefits of Herbal Vaporizers

Dry Herb vaporizers have been around for awhile and are one of the most popular products on the market with a huge range to choose from. Whether it’s Lavender, Basil or even Cannabis the benefits of vaping over smoking are very clear. So here are the benefits of herbal vaporizers?

Health

First off, it’s better for your health. When you smoke a joint you are burning paper which heats up the herbs, while also releasing carcinogens, tar and carbon monoxide, which can cause lung cancer and tons of respiratory disorders. When using a vaporizer with a conduction oven, you heat up the air around the herbs to the perfect temperature, cooking the herbs more evenly, without any combustion so instead of inhaling smoke you are inhaling concentrated water vapour.

User friendly

If you’re new to vaping, which I’m sure you are if you’re reading this blog, you will have no hassle in getting up to speed with how to use them. The majority of modern vapes are very user friendly and can often have one button for all controls – take the Pax 3 for example, the mouthpiece also acts as the only control button. Once you’ve added your herbs, press in the mouthpiece to turn it on or off and hold in the mouthpiece to alter the temperature setting. It can be as simple as that. Each vape has its own software and manual but generally their controls are straight to the point.

Precision.

With modern vapes or smart vapes, they come with an app. This means you can be precise about the temperature, heating your strain to the temperature that suits you’re needs. This is particularly useful for someone vaping weed for medicinal use. With a vape you will have consistency with your dosing.

Cheaper in the long run.

Vaporizers or atomizers come in all shapes and sizes, you can get a portable vape such as the XMAX starry or a desktop vape, such as the Arizer Extreme Q, a far more advanced vape that you would keep for staying in. Most quality dry herb vapes start at around €80 which might seem steep at first but you will make your money back in the long run as you wont run out of herbs as quick. Vaping herbs is far more efficient than smoking them meaning the effects are stronger so you can use less to get the desired results. Just to note there is such variety in the market that you can pay all the way up to €700. No harm in starting out with a budget vape.

Second hand smoke

An obvious important benefit to vaping over smoking is the lack of second hand smoke. With vaping you can have peace of mind about harming anyone around you in the process. You will also have a better chance of avoiding offending anyone as dry herb vapes could simply be confused with e-cigarettes but who knows there’s probably someone out there who gets upset from coming into contact with water vapour.

Smell

There’s a lot of information about vaping cannabis being odourless, this would be more so when using concentrates but in terms of the dry herb vape, from personal experience, I can with 100% certainty deny that. There’s no getting away from the strong smell of weed but you may be happy to hear that it doesn’t stick to your clothes as it would with smoking. So if you’re someone who likes to vape before mass they’ll never know.
